Signal’s RP One – The Innovation in Mobile Gaming
January 7th, 2014 will forever be remembered as the day that gaming fans got what they always wanted, an Xbox style gaming controller for iOS 7 that works wirelessly through Bluetooth. The RP One is innovation at its finest as it enables you to play your favorite games on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that run the iOS 7.
A Smart Controller for Smart Games
As we all know, Apple’s iOS7 platform features some excellent games that make old Xbox 360 games look silly. However, everyone is not touch friendly with hardcore and more interactive games like NOVA 3, Splinter Cell Conviction, or FIFA 14. While Angry Birds and Where’s My Water continue to be the touch-friendly favorites, avid gaming fans wanted more from their ‘pro games’. The ‘pro style’ gaming is what the new RP One hopes to emulate. A controller that brings the Xbox or Playstation like gamepad to mind, the RP One will feature two analog sticks, a directional pad, four action buttons (A, B, X and Y), a minimum of two shoulder buttons on either top edges, and a pause button.
Play Like a Pro
Unlike the Logitech Power Shell or Moga Ace Power, the RP One does not require the device to be connected to your phone, since it works wirelessly on Bluetooth. The device will come with a charging cable and has a lithium ion battery included which will provide you roughly 10 hardcore hours of portable gaming. SteelSeries revealed a new Stratus controller in the same week as the RP One, which will use Apple’s extended configurations to work as a Bluetooth controller. However, the RP One has a more ergonomic and Xbox style design, making it a better option to play your favorite games like, Asphalt 8: Airbone, Dead Trigger 2, and Walking Dead: The Game, just to name a few.
